Qualifications
Tamala Chirwa is an International Coach Federation (ICF) Credentialed Associate Certified Coach specializing in Executive Leadership and Group and Team Coaching. She is a Certified DISC Practitioner, Corporate Trainer/Leadership Consultant. She has an MBA from MANCOSA, ACCA Diploma in Financial Management and a Post-Graduate Management Certificate from University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.
During her twenty-year corporate career, she has held various positions in leading organizations in Malawi, South Africa and Kenya. She has excelled at delivering high-value solutions as a manager in Finance, Administration and Human Resources Management functions. She is highly experienced in designing and delivering leadership development and coach-training programmes in organizations. She is a Vital Voices Leadership Fellow and a member of a Global Network of Women Leaders who improve lives in their communities (www.vitalvoices.org).
Tamala is the Founder of Professional Coaching Institute (PCI) – a coach-training company that develops professional coaches through coach-training programmes and supports leaders to embed coaching in their corporate cultures through leadership development and coaching programmes. She is currently the Director of Women in News – Africa (www.womeninnews.org). Her past roles include:
- Subject Matter Expert and Coach for the MBA Leadership Lab of the African Leadership University;
- Malawi Coach/Cohort Facilitator for the Breakfast Club Africa.
